This laddu is going to make kids go yum! It’s delicious, healthy and a perfect sweet indulgence for kids ….anytime when they get cravings to have something sweet. The best part is that this laddu is packed with good health benefits and is recommended by a Nutritionist, Ms. Ritu Agarwal.
Daily, kids can have 1 laddu /cookie along with their evening snacks.
INGREDIENTS-
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 cup Dates (Seedless) if isn’t available Jaggery can be used as a substitute
- Honey for binding
- Ghee
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder (optional)
- Nuts- Almond & Walnut (5 each)
METHOD-
Step 1: Roast Oats till it becomes crunchy
Step 2: Add the roasted oats along with dates in a grinder to make a smooth mixture
Step 3: Finely chop the nuts and keep aside
Step 4: Take a bowl, add the oats & dates mixture; add in the chopped nuts; add cardamom powder; honey , little regular oats as a coating….mix them so that it binds well
Step 5: Moist your hand with little ghee and start making small balls /cookie shapes out of it
Step 6: After a while slowly keep the laddu’s in an air tight container to store them
